It will not work. This is the reason why we ship 2 different kernel
versions as already explained.

As already explained, you need the vanilla linux kernel source
(linux.rpm, not kernel-source). The kernel-source{-sparc32} RPMs
already contains a lot of more fixes, so that you cannot patch
them with full kernel patches, only with new fixes.

I did already twice: kernel-source{-sparc32} contains already some
fixes.

I do not, but you seem to read only the first lines of my emails.
I already explained in my first mail about our 3 kernel sources
which is for which case.
But again in the hope you don't stop again to read:
kernel-source-sparc32 -> 2.2.20 with fixes for sparc32
kernel-source -> 2.4.14 with fixes for UltraSPARC, will not work on sparc32
linux -> vanilla 2.4.x kernel sources.
