Hi Ingo
Thanks for the reply.
I've got a 7.3 CD installation without any updates as I can't get the ftp
update to work (maybe a firewall issue).
My versions are:
- gcc version 2.95.3 20010315 (SuSE)
- GNU Make version 3.79.1, by Richard Stallman and Roland McGrath.
and the packages:
- modutils-2.4.11-0
- util-linux-2.11i-12
I know have a 2.4.17 compiled and am now trying to build the modules which
hav ejust crashed on smbfs - I'll take this out of the config & try again.
Thanks for any ideas.
John Jarvie
