Hi everyone, Im trying to install SuSE SPARC 7.3 on a SPARCStation 5. Im
booting with the boot & root floppies supplied on the first cd. I can get
to boot fine, and I setup the network. Then it asks where everything is,
either cdrom, ftp, etc. Ive attempted to do an FTP install from another
Linux server running ProFTPd. I give it the IP address, username &
password, and directory, but it responds with file not found. So, I
decided to try an NFS install. I setup my NFS server to export the share
to everyone and to allow root...when I try to connect from the install, it
gives me an unknown error. Has anyone else had this problem?
Thanks,
Alan
