    Hi,
    ihmo, you have no chance to fix that in a easy Way.
    On my Box this was the same, the only way to get a real stable Installation
    is to
    install it WITH a VGA-Board (cg6) and a Keyboard.

    The Kernel (KlogD and others) can't use /dev/console at the same Time for
    input and output, but this is the Situation on using ttyS0 as a Terminal.
    And without the right PROM-Settings for in/output (input + output-device
    ttya)
    the Kernel/Installation din't work.
    Maybe it is possible to set input as ttya and output to ttyb but it's not
    tested.
