[suse-sparc] kmail not cleaning up

Subject: [suse-sparc] kmail not cleaning up

i just installed 7.3 on my ss20, and kmail is not working quite right,
sometimes i open the app and download 40 messages, for example,
and delete them, then close the app, when i reopen the app all
the messages are back in my inbox as unread
any ideas?
