On Sparc Ultra 10 (2.4.19-pre9) **modprobe ne2k-pci** looks good first:

and I can ping the NIC after ifconfig 'em an IP.
But thats all! NO ftp, ssh, xdm (sure, server runs)... AND NO MESSAGES
FROM DRIVER (even with debug=31).
