Hi All,
I am a newbie on Suse/Sparc ...
I have been trying to compile the 2.4.16 Linux Kernel and get an error
in linux/kernel/sched.c which I cannot figure out:
Undefined symbol:
in linux/kernel/sched.c:
In Function 'show_task':
Undefined reference to 'show_trace_task'
KERNEL_HACKING is not used.
-------------
BTW: I am trying to recompile the kernel because my machine litteraly
crawls on its knees with the "out-of-the-box" Suse 7.3 installation.
The machine has a 4Gb Disk and 64 Mbytes of memory and it is
incredibly slow. Would anybody have a hint on why it is so slow ???
This machine has been running SunOS 4.1.4 and Solaris 2 at usual
acceptable speeds .. But with Linux is almost unusable ....
Bye Bye List .. and thanks for any pointers ..
