The display is like "scrambled". Lines and dots appear everywhere on the
screen. This is because the core/memory? (I don't remember) of the integrated
graphic card is clocked too high (120 Mhz instead of 100 Mhz) in kernels
before 2.4.17. About your problem did you try with another monitor ?
