    What soundcard are you using? I would be interested to see if anyone is
    using the crystal cs428x cards on sparc hardware. There are a few
    soundcards that seem to compile on later kernels.
    Also, what sort of chip do the sparc workstations use?

    Just as a side note, I've never gotten linux sparc audio working on my
    ultra 2 with any kernel. All I hear is a hissing sound from any digital
    source. I'm not sure if the kernel truly supports it or not. I gave up
    on it and just plugged my speakers into the headphone jack of the cdrom
    to listen to music occasionally.
