Yes, you should be OK with these. Remember you must put in IDENTICAL
modules and speeds if you're going SMP - so, in this regard, the _first_ one
you buy makes a decision for you, right?? You also must replace your PROM
chip - need a 'ROSS'-enabled chip, as in 2.25R. These are widely available
for $10-15. Many CPU resellers can be 'convinced' to toss one in with the
sale...
I've put two Ross 180s in an SS10, and it works great (I have been using
kernel 2.2.20-SMP). You will need a document which discusses jumper
settings and stuff on the SS; I will dig this up and send to you if you buy
these. Lemme know.
If the guy is mario ('romotica' as I recall), I think you should be OK. I
bought mine from him. (I paid a little too much, but this was my fault,
ultimately!)
