    I too have a similar problem...My SPRACstation 20 works fine with 7.1, but
    when I install (clean or oherwise) 7.3...I get the "CD's are not the same
    version" error when going from disc 1 to 2, etc...

    Well, I have FINALLY gotten 7.3 installed on my little SparcClassic over
    the weekend. (It only took a new hard drive, and a borrowed CD drive to
    get it all to work) I now have to minor issues. First, the install keeps
    complaining that the CDs I'm using don't match the version installed on the
    hard disk, which is interesting because these are the CDs I used to install,
    so there can't be a different version! (Where's this value stored, so I can
    see why it thinks this?) Secondly, when I go into the install/remove
    programs
    portion of YaST2, it crunches for a while, and then comes up with two values
    in the left window, which are z???? and zall (or something close) and I
    can't
    add or remove any programs. Why would this be happening and how can I fix
    it?
    I've got several packages installed that I want to remove to give me some
    more
    disk space. (I don't plan on doing any KDE development or even running KDE
    on this thing so want to remove all of that, same thing for 3d development
    and
    so on)
