Ok, ok, ok.......... I sorted out the online update thingy. I blame
all these newfangled gui's, was not running it as root.

    Hi,

    1) When installing I am unable to select (UK) English with out the
install hanging, I am forced to take the (US) English and then
change keymaps once it has been installed <---- looking at other
posts, this appears to be the norm

    2) When trying the online update, I receive an error from every
source, even though I can connect to them if I ftp directly.

I have been previously running debain/potato which is old and not
that great as a workstation but I have only been playing with suse for
roughly 12hours and had basic problems with both the install
    and the updates grrrrrrrrr

Am I just being a plank or are these the sort of things I should expect
if I decide to stay with suse ???????/

    Cheers

    Chris Wren
