I guess I was fortunate in having a standard Ultra10. I think I remember seeing a Sparc edition of SuSE for sale on their website (check out http://www.suse.com/us/products/suse_linux/sparc/index.html).
The only serious bugs I've found to date occur under KDE2. Either the user configs get garbled or some other bad thing occurs -- I fix it by deleting the .kde2 directory (blowing away most of the settings) and then logging in again. The most recent one had to do with click the option to "Add SuSE menus." I did that and the SuSE menu options were added but clicking on them would lock up the menubar completely.
Irritating at best. But as long as Opera, KMail, PHP, Apache, PostgreSQL, and GCC keep working I'm golden. ;)

Where are all these bugs? ;) YMMV of course but 7.3 has proven to be quite stable for my meager little requirements. Lets hope there is an 8.0. I'd hate to go back to Solaris if I didn't have to....
The bugs are in the YAST2 manager, It has many problems in reconstructing the silo.conf file, and in mounting partitions, when you have several of them.
Yes I think is stable, but this is the kernel, There is some problem also with the scsi devices, and lvm volume manager inside yast2, it can be corrected in several ways, But this is a developer release I think... And all this problems can be accepted for the moment.
I 'd like to buy SUSE for sun , but I'do not think it is the moment.
