    Just to let you guys know what I've gotten in the way of responses from
    the list in regards to my informal hardware census.

    Now, this result may or may not represent the actual percentages of the
    installed base of SuSE sparc, and is in no way scientific...but by far
    the responses were sparc32...and of the ones with 64bit sparcs, alot of
    them also ran a 32bit sparc. This could be because the 64bit hardware
    doesn't have any problems and those guys don't bother to subscribe to
    the list...or they could just be apathetic about 32bit sparc
    support...who knows

    I think it would be in SuSE's interests to do a real survey of actual
    hardware usage of potential customers before just writing sparc32 off
    for dead. :-)
