Greetings,
I am in my second month of running SuSE 7.3 Sparc Linux on my U30
workstation. No real discoveries, nor problems, yet, one glitch.
The glitch?
When I mount Solaris ufs partitions under 7.3 I can read without incident,
but, any attempt to write causes the Linux to lock up, requiring the
extraction and reinsertion of the power cord (figuratively speaking.) I
have mounted with and without the "ufstype=sun" option.
If anyone has a clue or a 2x4 for me, well and good. Otherwise, "hello" and
I'll be around.
