Subject: [suse-sparc] Switching from x86 -> SPARC Linux

    Greetings Folks,

I run SuSE 7.3 on my IBM T21 Thinkpad and I love it. However, I, now, have a
Ultra5 sitting on my desk (so no more lugging the laptop from home to office
    and vice versa).

I'm in the process of getting my Ultra 5 to replace my laptop but I'm curious
about some things. When I get binaries for some programs, some don't really
specify if they are Sparc64 binaries. Thus, I have tried to run stuff and I get
the errors. My question is this. Is there a one-stop-shopping place for Sparc64
binaries/sources for Linux? I have managed to replace most of what I need
through Freshmeat.net, but I'm trying to take care of Mozilla, Java, Netscape
(beyond 4), and KDE. I don't want to have to compile all of the KDE sources.
Any binaries out there??? What about for Gnome???

Any help would be appreciated. Also, if someone could tell me what I am
DEFINITELY NOT going to be able to replace, that would be wonderful. Again, I'm
moving from an intel machine to a Sparc machine (Ultra 5). Forgive my
    ignorance.

    Thank you.

             -- Michael.

    P.S. Netscape 7.....a possibility????
