Yep, I ran silo after each time.
Did some research after I sent out the mail, and it seems that the kernel size
cannot be any larger than 2.6MB, so I'm 0.1MB too big. :) I went back into
the make menuconfig, and actually deleted out filesystems that I'm never going
to use, and a couple of other things, and I'm recompiling right now.
