I have downloaded SuSE Linux 7.3 Sparc and tried booting my Ultra Sparc
1 system with the floppy image that is on the CD (I cannot boot from the
CD even though I can boot from the installation CD in the Solaris 7
Server Media Kit I have). When the system is done trying to boot the
kernel, I get a message telling me that I am supposed to use a 64-bit
kernel on 64-bit systems like this one, and that this kernel is 32-bit.
I cannot find a floppy image for booting SuSE Linux 7.3 Sparc
installation with a 64-bit kernel on it.
How do I go about this?
Best regards,
David List
