Sorry Brian! Here are my comments:
Yes, you are correct. The order of the tasks in the file can have an influence
on the scheduling of task _if_ they have the same priority. At least this is
true for all officially released versions. The CVS version contains a
drastically improved scheduler that also factors in the estimated duration of
the task and the probability of getting it's resources. Please try the CVS,
it's pretty safe to use right now.
In case you need RPMs, SUSE Linux 9.2 has already a CVS version with those
improvements on it. We just didn't have time to make an official release yet.
