Subject: [taskjuggler-devel] Open Source Algorithms

I think I remember someone posting here that the scheduling algorithm could
use some work.

Today I stumbled across an open source repository of operations research
algorithms: LP solvers, branch and cut, interior point, and others. At
some point this might be useful (although for complex problems like
resource-contrained scheduling, heuristics are probably the only option).

Anyway, for the archives, the site is: http://www.coin-or.org.

The project is called "Computational Infrastructure for Operations
Research."

Regards,

Mark
