There could be a new Java program that does the same thing like
taskjuggler. But: Lots of work, because that would be a complete
new project, that would _not_ be called Taskjuggler ;-))
Taskjuggler uses C++ and Qt and thus it is source compatible to
other platforms. You just need a license for Qt for windows for
example and you can compile a native windows version. I once
tried it with a quite old version of compiler on win and got c++
probs because the compiler was too old.
I think that people who like to use TJ tend to use good OS -
that's the reason why nobody tried that seriously.

I personally do not see that there is 'something else'. Oh -well-
you might mean MacOS? Yes, there was somebody here who compiled
TJ for MacOS. Don't know the state of that.
