Hi list,
We have developed PyTJ, a Python wrapper that enables us to generate a tjp
file, execute it and process the results into a database. This works nicely.
However, it is a pain to check for the error messages. We would like it very
much if the error messages are somehow coded, so they can be recognized by
PyTJ in a better way than currently by parsing parts of the actual message.
A fine way would be if all messages started with: 'ERRORxxxxx' or 'WARNxxxxx'
or 'INFOxxxxx' where the xxxxx is a number that uniquely identifies the
error. That way it would be MUCH easier to check for errors. Furthermore,
sometimes it is very important to get information on why the error occurs. So
it would be nice to have some way to get information from taskjuggler that
can be processed by PyTJ.
Thanks for the magnificent program and keep up the good work.
Cheers,
D. Kniep
