Thanks for your thoughts. You raise some valid points that we will consider. Let me just comment on a few things.
It seems like you only have tried small projects so far. Some of your ideas do not work well with hundreds of resources and hundreds of tasks. Then you also have dozends of custom reports.
Nice icons are hard to get and take fairly much screen space. But they generally increase usability.
It seems like most people favor the TaskJugglerUI over the ktjview2 GUI. So the latter will most likely go away. It has not seen much development over the last year.
