The change to the timeout made no difference afaict. The program still crashes "sometimes" whenever it redoes the schedule. The debug message I added as per the above suggestion emits text various numbers of times (in recent runs, two or three times) - it's definitely not the case that it always crashes on the first time.

I rebuilt with -g and ran it under gdb. When the crash happens, the stack inside TaskJugglerView::updateResourceList() appears to be smashed, so there is no useful information about what may be going wrong. The stack above that looks ok, and, to my eyes (knowing nothing in particular about this software), there is nothing obviously wrong.

So, I guess that the code is smashing the stack somehow...
