I tried to figure out whether it is possible to report the effort still necessary to finish a task and the time spent with the task. It seems that booking of the times spent with a task can be added only by telling what date interval a resource devoted for the given task (booking yyyy.mm.dd - YYYY.MM.DD task).
1. I would appreciate if it could be possible to report the time someone spent with the given task.
2. It would be great if the effort needed to finish the task could be logged/updated every time when the resource books its times:
supplement resource {
booking date1 date2 task {
effort_spent 12h
effort_togo 6h
}
}
the estimation of the effort necessary would be updated this way:
new_effort_estimation = last_effort_estimation - effort_spent + effort_togo
at the beginning the estimation is equal to the initial estimation
Thinking in percents of task completeness (attribute complete) seems to me to be harder than to think in hours necessary to finish the task.
Is there a way to report efforts in the way I described it?
