I'm just cleaning up the changelog and I think we have enough stuff for a 2.1.1 release. It's not having a lot of real new features in the code, but it's got a number of good bug fixes. The only "new" feature is the export of iCalendar files. And this is not even new code. Klaas just decided to revive the old code and turn it on by default.
Apart from the bug fixes and the iCal export, we have a significantly improved documentation. It's got a new look and lot's of syntax examples. Nearly every important keyword now has an example that shows it's use cases.
If I don't hear any objections, I will create the first 2.1.1 beta tarball tomorrow. As usual, we will probably do one or two public betas before the final release.
We have only tested the iCal export with Kontact/Korganizer. So it would be good to get some feedback whether or not it works with other iCal enabled calendar software as well.
One more change: To avoid the cross postings to the user and developer forum, we have created a new announcement forum for releases. All release announcements will go there and no longer to the lists. Please subscribe to the announcement forum http://www.taskjuggler.org/FUDforum2/index.php?t=thread& frm_id=2&S=20da6911309e746053b8a0c0960e56ec
to get the release announcements.
