The TaskJuggler code base is now more than 4 years old. Except for some major rewrites leading to version 2 the code was mostly extended, but never cleaned. To make room for some new things I'd like to get rid of some older, badly designed stuff. The XML version 1 format is currently at the top of my list.
Are you guys still using it? If so, what's keeping you from using the version 2 format?
Before somebody says 'tjx2gantt can't read version 2!', that's number 2 on my list. ;) It breaks with every major Perl update. Since nobody want to continue to maintain it, there is no chance but to drop it as well. The GUI should be a good enough replacement.
