Subject: [taskjuggler-devel] Some ideas ...

Hi!

1. I miss a keyboard shortcut to (de)insert tasks. (normally Ctrl-(Shift)-I or something) to insert tabs in all lines of a marked region.

2. weird function which fixes width of ganttchart:
Start new project (simple Project) or just start up with whatever project I tried. Schedule and view Gantt-Chart. The Column-Width is fixed. If you zoom in you can modify the width ...

3. function of keyword 'weeklymax'
If I use weeklymax in a task which includes subtasks the value is inherited. But: Lets say I want to have a task A which consists of Subtask B and Subtask C. If I now specify a weeklymax for task A I would expect that the sum of Subtask B and Subtask C must meet the weeklymax. What TJ does is that inserting two subtasks doubles the amount of weekly scheduled time.

4. Usability Issue: Why are the scheduling, the stop and the two problem buttons located on the 'Gantt-Chart'-Toolbar? (or did I fiddle around with the buttons? - don't think so but could have happened)

Jochen
