Yet another set of suggestions based on my usage of TaskJuggler.
Add a property to htmlcalendar that suppresses the display of tasks on days where there is no time assigned to the task, for example holidays and weekends.
Add an option to the htmlcalendar that allows you to suppress selected weekdays altogether. A calendar that does not have the Saturday and Sunday columns would not be as wide, and fit on the display.
Currently I cannot share things like company holidays and convention tasks between projects. That is because TaskJuggler complains if a date is outside the project date range. If there was some way to indicate that a date should be silently clipped to the project date range, it would allow these items to be shared. I can think of three different ways to do so:
Add a clipdates property to the include statement. This would clip all dates in objects read from the included file.
Extend the date syntax somehow.
Add a clipdates property to things that use dates, like start, end, and vacation.
The first way may not be as flexible as the others, but should be sufficient in almost all cases, and would be the easiest for the user to understand (and maybe easier to implement).
Thanks
