That is true. But I think version 3 is standard in between.

Well, it was a decision to use Qt, and the point of porting does not
count so much at this point since Qt also works on most platforms.
The only thing is the dependency on X, but it might be that taskjuggler
will have interactive parts in the future and we will make use of the
GUI capabilities of Qt also.

Sorry, but I can not imagine that we will accept patches for that. As I
already said using Qt was a design decision for this project. We like
the Qt signal- and slot concepts, the clear and powerfull interface and
so on. Qt has a clear license, it is available on most platforms, it is
excellent documented so I can not see any reason to drop it. Qt is
definetely the toolbox I like to use.
