TaskJuggler is a project management software, not a Gantt Chart drawing utility. The manual gives some more insight into the differences and why you usually want one and not the other.

All project data can be changed in the GUI with the project editor. By pressing F9 the project will be rescheduled and all reports are updated. Report data is static and can not be manipulated. There is no way to transfer such changes back into the original project description.
