Hi,
for every valid mail we have on the TaskJuggler mailing lists, I get more than 200 spam mails. I'm using already a spam filter, but it does not yet reduce the number of mails enough to be manageable within the time I've got. All posts from non-members to the list end up in my inbox for approval. I will now increase the threshold of the spam filter but this will also increase the likelyhood of false positives.
We already have stopped publishing the mailing list info in favor of our web forum which does not suffer from the spam problem. If you are still using the mailing lists, please consider a switch to the forum or make sure you always post with your subscribed email address. Otherwise your posting might get lost in the spam filter.
Thanks for you understanding!
Chris
