Last week we have released TaskJuggler 2.2.0. It was the first release that contained the full-featured graphical user interface that puts the TaskJuggler visual experience en-par with other Project Management software.
Unfortunately, TaskJuggler is still perceived by many people as a command line application. It still is and will be. But with the GUI we now have opened TaskJuggler to a whole new range of users as well. Please help us spread the message that TaskJuggler is the answer for anybody that is looking for an Open Source Project Management software.
What can you do?
Software Directories:
If you know or find a software directory, especially those on Project Management, that does not or not appropriately list TaskJuggler, please add it.
Blogs:
Do you have a Blog? How about blogging about your experience? We certainly hope it was a positive one. ;) If so, please also consider a submission in our Feedback Forum as well.
Wikis:
Do you know a Wiki that could need some info about TaskJuggler? Then please add an entry. I recently saw that we are even listed in the English, German and French Wikipedia now.
Mailinglists and Forums:
If you encounter a post where somebody is looking for a project management software, please recommend checking out TaskJuggler.
Press and News sites:
Do you know a press guy or are even one? How about writing an article about TaskJuggler. We already had several good articles, but there is certainly interest in more.
Why should you do this?
The larger our user base is, the better is the quality of our software. More users means more developers, more testers and more people who help other users. This is what makes Open Source Projects successfull. So please get involved and help us spread the word.
Thanks,
Chris
