While still at a proposal phase, this whole thing ties up with
http://pad.ceph.com/p/osd-replacement
Following up on said proposal, there will be a 'ceph osd purge' command
that will perform both those commands, along with a (proposed) 'osd
destroy'.
This will hit luminous, and therefore SES5.
If you are reading this and think you may be interested in how we handle
at-rest encryption keys, or replacing osds, you should read the pad
above. Keep in mind it's still a proposal and changes are likely to happen.
