Many Thanks for the good words. Now we know why "xinetd" is not working, no need to run further tests.
Do you have a feeling in your water as to the Beta-n we will see the new version running ? as you say xinetd is used by quite a lot of functions that one would like to have working now.

We plan to remove xinetd from SLE15 as it's unmaintained for a couple of
years and we can go using systemd socket services now.
They are many packages and tools which needs to be fixed to achieve this
move and it is currently work in progress for SLE15.
