"Boot Options" not available during EFI boot

Hi,

Why is it that we can specify "Boot Options" only for 'BIOS' boot and not for 'EFI' boot?  Our lab hosts are firewalled off from the Internet, so being able to specify "self_update=0" option is important to me.
