As of now our SUSE Linux Enterprise Live Patching[1] allows you to
apply patches to your Linux kernel without rebooting the system, but
we are excited to announce that we are working on extending the
coverage to Userspace packages as well!

First and foremost, we are still in the development phase, so testing
this new technology will not be for everyone, but it is very important
for us that we develop in the open and that we allow our users and
community to test early in the process!

There is only 2 important pages that you should know about:

This is where you can find everything you need to test ULP on your
system. Please refer to the demo instructions[2] for more
information.
We are hosting Libpulp, the framework that enables Userspace Live
Patching on github. This is where you can look under the hood if you are
interested in further study of ULP.

Note that there is a developer mailing list at
ulp-devel at lists.opensuse.org if you want to contribute to ULP, but
if you have any question, you can respond to this email.

Finally, we are planning for having ULP to be officially released
post-SLE 15 SP4! Please stay in touch.

We wish you all a nice day,
