   An update that has two recommended fixes can now be
   installed.

Description:

   This update introduces hdf5 version 1.10.1 built for environment modules
   to the HPC Module. This is supported for use without (FATE#321710) and
   with MPI (FATE#321717).

   HDF5 is a data model, library, and file format for storing and managing
   data. It supports an unlimited variety of datatypes, and is designed for
   flexible and efficient I/O and for high volume and complex data. HDF5 is
   portable and is extensible, allowing applications to evolve in their use
   of HDF5.

   The HDF5 technology suite is designed to organize, store, discover,
   access, analyze, share, and preserve diverse, complex data in continuously
   evolving heterogeneous computing and storage environments.


Patch Instructions:

   To install this SUSE Recommended Update use YaST online_update.
   Alternatively you can run the command listed for your product:

      zypper in -t patch SUSE-SLE-Module-HPC-12-2017-1856=1
