Affected Products:
SUSE Linux Enterprise Module for Basesystem 15
______________________________________________________________________________
An update that has 8 recommended fixes can now be installed.
Description:
This update for systemd provides the following fixes:
- systemctl: Mask always reports the same unit names when different
unknown units are passed. (bsc#1095973)
- systemctl: Check the existence of all units, not just the first one.
- scsi_id: Fix the prefix for pre-SPC inquiry reply. (bsc#1039099)
- device: Make sure to always retroactively start device dependencies.
(bsc#1088052)
- locale-util: On overlayfs FTW_MOUNT causes nftw(3) to not list *any*
files.
- Fix pattern to detect distribution.
- install: The "user" and "global" scopes are equivalent for user presets.
(bsc#1093851)
- install: Search for preset files in /run (#7715)
- install: Consider globally enabled units as "enabled" for the user.
(bsc#1093851)
- install: Consider non-Alias=/non-DefaultInstance= symlinks as "indirect"
enablement.
- install: Only consider names in Alias= as "enabling".
- udev: Whitelist mlx4_core locally-administered MAC addresses in the
persistent rule generator. (bsc#1083158)
- man: Updated systemd-analyze blame description for service-units with
Type=simple. (bsc#1091265)
- fileio: Support writing atomic files with timestamp.
- fileio.c: Fix incorrect mtime
- Drop runtime dependency on dracut, otherwise systemd pulls in tools to
generate the initrd even in container/chroot installations that don't
have a kernel. For environments where initrd matters, dracut should be
pulled via a pattern. (bsc#1098569)
- An update broke booting with encrypted partitions on NVMe (bsc#1095096)
