Assuming you mean /var/log/xinetd.log, rsh to do a pwd produces:

13/5/7 at 14:46:37: START: shell from=134.244.155.31
13/5/7 at 14:46:37: EXIT: shell status=0 duration=0(sec)

and the rlogin produces:

13/5/7 at 14:48:38: START: login from=134.244.155.31
13/5/7 at 14:48:38: EXIT: login status=0 duration=0(sec)

Running a command that takes a few seconds via rsh produces:

13/5/7 at 14:49:27: START: shell from=134.244.155.31
13/5/7 at 14:49:44: EXIT: shell status=0 duration=17(sec)
