To Whom It May Concern.

I would like to have the Registration code requested is for SLES, not SLED. Please send me the one for SLES.

SUSE Linux Enterprise Server,
SUSE Linux Enterprise High Availability.

Thanks and best regards,

Garry

Subject: [sles-beta] [SUSE] Beta Testing SLES 12 Modules and other SLE 12 SP2 Beta Online Channels.

Greetings Beta testers,

We would like to remind you that if you want to beta test our SLES 12 Modules,
SLE 12 SP2 Beta channels and online Service Pack migration, you will need
to register your SLES or SLED with a Beta Registration Code.

So how do you get such Beta Registration Code?

It's simple, please respond to this email with your product(s) of choice:
SUSE Linux Enterprise Server,
SUSE Linux Enterprise Desktop,
SUSE Linux Enterprise High Availability.

SLES Modules:
SLES 12 Modules are cross Service Packs, which mean that SLES 12, SLES 12
SP1 and SLES 12 SP2 share the same Modules channels.
Here is the list of available Modules for SLES:

  *   Web and Scripting Module
  *   Legacy Module
  *   Public Cloud Module
  *   Toolchain Module
  *   Advanced Systems Management Module
  *   Certifications Module
  *   Containers Module

https://www.suse.com/products/server/features/modules
SLE 12 SP2 Beta Channels:
Registering our SUSE Product with a registration code to our SUSE Customer
Center automatically allow the usage of our online channels for the SUSE Product.
SLE 12 SP2 Beta is not an exception, by registering your "beta test server" you
will get access to the

  *   SLES Channels: SLES12-SP2-{Pool,Updates},
  *   SDK Channels: SLE-SDK12-SP2-{Pool,Updates},
  *   SLE Workstation Extension Channels: SLE-WE12-SP2-{Pool,Updates}

and of course HA if you have the extension registered:

  *   SLEHA Channels: SLE-HA12-SP2-{Pool,Update}
These channels will not be updated in a daily basis but for each beta release.
Online Migration:
Starting with SLES 12, we are supporting more upgrade path by allowing to skip
Service Pack(s).
This mean that you can safely migrate directly from SLES 12 to SLES 12 SP2 (and
skip SLES 12 SP1). You can also make a major version upgrade by migrating your
SLES 11 SP4 to SLES 12 SP2 (and skip SLES 12 and SLES 12 SP1)!
