so that the Gnome experts can have a look.
Only out of my own personal curiosity:
What conflict is it that your software cannot coexist with CUPS?
I ask because CUPS is usually installed on any Linux system
so that software that cannot coexist with CUPS looks
a bit "antagonistic" from my current point of view.
