Hi Stefan

I can observe the same behavior on a HP Proliant DL380-G7 2 Intel Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU X5660 @ 2.80GHz Procs, 48GB RAM, attached to SAN EMC where I do a network installation ISO attached to ILO-3 and installation server via http using autoyast.
Kernel Boot options:
netwait=40
net.ifnames=0
splash=verbose
install=http://172.27.40.68/sles12_64
netdevice=eth0
hostname=h063uz
hostip=10.226.154.19
netmask=255.255.254.0
gateway=10.226.155.254
nameserver=10.1.121.11
autoyast=http://172.27.40.68/pstkits/profiles/sles12_autoinst_h063uz.xml
netsetup=-dhcp,+hostip,+gateway,+netmask,+nameserver
udev.rule= "mac=78:e7:d1:e7:eb:c0,name=eth0"

and also on a very small VMware ESXi VM 1 CPU 2GB RAM doing manual installation using Btrfs.
On this manual installation I am using only the SLE-12-Server-DVD-x86_64-Beta6-DVD1.iso mounted remotely via v-sphere DVD-ROM device.

The issue is, that this behavior was not there with SLES12 Beta4.
It began with Beta5 and now with Beta6 it seems to be worse.

With SLES11-SP3 on the same servers there is absolutely no delay, no waiting on initialization of the software manager.

Best regards

This is strange, I'm not seeing this here, will try different setups now.
Was it a physical of virtual installation?
And how much memory had the machine?
