let me officially welcome you to the Beta Test of

           SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 12 Service Pack 1

Here are some informations about our Beta program:

* Schedule:

2015-08-06 Beta 1
2015-08-20 Beta 2
2015-09-03 Beta 3
2015-09-24 RC1
2015-10-15 RC2
2015-11-16 GMC

* Download:

As the SLES 12 SP1 Beta 1 availability announcement said, to download our beta images:
go to https://novell.com/beta/ and in "View my Beta", you should see all
the SL beta products you are entitled to download.

* Beta Test communication:

- Mailing lists:
 - announcements of new beta versions, and share technical information
 - serve as discussion forums
 - share information about issues found by participants
 - to post findings, also to minimize reporting of duplicates

- PSE/DSE

SUSE customers with PSE/DSE can report issues through their SUSE
contact.

- Service Requests

Other participants in the beta test may use their Novell login and Beta support entitlements to file service requests.

BETA TEST: SLES 12 SP1 / SLES 12 SP1 HA (same account for SLES and HA)
BETA TEST: SLED 12 SP1

This can be reached from https://novell.com/beta/ and choose "Submit
Service Request".

Potential updates and fixes are either delivered by PSE or DSE, or with
a subsequent release.
