Attempting to install ollama via the helm chart from AppCo fails with error:

the knowledge base requires Milvus to be configured. If Milvus is not
configured it will not be possible to store docs.
We'll verify this behavior once Milvus is fully available in AppCo, and will
want to add a note in the documentation that "Open WebUI knowledge base usage
requires Milvus to be configured as a data store"

I am able to reproduce the problem *without Rancher Prime installed on the
stack. If the environment already has Rancher Prime installed, as this is a
supported use case for SUSE Private AI, then the cert-manager CRDs would've
been already provisioned.
For now, when installing open-webui on an environment *without Rancher Prime*,
user must first install the cert-manager CRDs out-of-band using kubectl.
kubectl apply -f

Note for PM (decision makers), we also need to make a strategic decision on
whether we support this use case, where user is deploying SUSE AI components
into an environment without preexisting Rancher (Prime).
User will not run into the missing cert-manager CRDs problem if the environment
has preexisting Rancher as Rancher would've required cert-manager to be
installed first.

By default we do not configure RAG_EMBEDDING_MODEL.
You can provide the RAG_EMBEDDING_MODEL as an extra environment variable during
deployment.
For example:
- name: RAG_EMBEDDING_MODEL
value: "sentence-transformers/all-MiniLM-L6-v2"

Issue is more difficult than presented. Tried fixing in the docker file, but
the ollama binary is ignoring the export GIN_MODE=release
see issues:
https://github.com/NixOS/nixpkgs/issues/320503
https://github.com/NixOS/nixpkgs/pull/320526
https://gitlab.archlinux.org/archlinux/packaging/packages/ollama/-/issues/5
I don't see the issue in the upstream code, but I am not sure how it was fixed
either. But it looks lik this will need an updated to the ollama binary and not
the container code.

Bug ID: 1234343
Summary: Pulsar documentation no longer needed. Entitlement

Classification: SUSE AI
Product: SUSE AI Application Containers
Version: unspecified
Hardware: Other
OS: Other
Status: NEW
Severity: Minor
Priority: P5 - None

A couple of minor feedback items from early doc reviews:
- because Pulsar was dropped from the stack, we should remove the Pulsar
section from
https://documentation.suse.com/suse-ai/1.0/html/AI-requirements/index.html
- add a note to
https://documentation.suse.com/suse-ai/1.0/html/AI-intro/index.html#ai-intro-how-works
(and/or other location(s) it may make sense) indicating that SUSE AI requires a
purchase/subscription and that the helm charts will only be accessible to
customers who have that subscription, something like:
"Installing SUSE AI requires the purchase of Rancher Prime and a SUSE AI
entitlement. The charts and container images are only available for download to
customers with those entitlements."

@Tomas we also will want to remove the Pulsar section from
https://documentation.suse.com/suse-ai/1.0/html/AI-requirements/index.html as
Pulsar has been replaced by Kafka... I figured removing it would be a minor
change so I combined the two topics here, I can file a separate bug if you
prefer

If one adds a new model through the UI and then restarts the container the new
model is lost. Another side effect of this is that each time the container is
restarted, the models specified in the values file need to be downloaded again.
By default ollama saves the models into ./.ollama/models which is not
persistent storage. This path can be changed by setting the OLLAMA_MODELS env
variable.
The model storage should be persisted by default. The chart should include the
setting to do this.
