[caasp-beta] CaaSP v4 Beta Dashboard

If I am not wrong, he is asking about “kubernetes dashoard “(not CAASP VELUM) ,.

As per CAASP 4 documentation and roadmap somewhere it was stated CAASP 4 “velum” is deprecated .

You can use simple Kubernetes commands to install dashboard and access with either editing the service of Kubernetes dashboard in “kube-system” to open with NodePort but there is token process that you need follow.


Do this step to install dashboard pod.


The Dashboard UI is not deployed by default. To deploy it, run the following command:



kubectl apply -f https://raw.githubusercontent.com/kubernetes/dashboard/v2.0.0-beta1/aio/deploy/recommended.yaml


open service and edit to make with node port

Run “kubectl edit service kubernetes-dashboard -n kube-system”
After you can access any nodes port

Accessing the Dashboard UI

To protect your cluster data, Dashboard deploys with a minimal RBAC configuration by default. Currently, Dashboard only supports logging in with a Bearer Token. To create a token for this demo,

What kind of dashboard are you looking for? Kubernetes Dashboard?
If your looking for Velum like you saw in CaaSP v3 then you won't find it because its been deprecated in v4.
