SLE15 SP6: Heads Up: Final Deadline for Feature and Change Acceptance

Dear SLE Stakeholders,

This serves as a reminder regarding the upcoming deadline for final
acceptance of features and changes for SLE Products. To ensure a smooth
development process and product release on schedule, we're aiming for
finalization by 2024-03-19.

Key information:

   - Feature and Change Acceptance Deadline also kABI soft freeze:
   *2024-02-29*
   - Bug Fix Submissions: We will continue to accept bug fixes after this
   deadline, with focus on P1 and P2 severity levels.
   - Change Acceptance After Deadline: Due to potential schedule risks, any
   feature or feature requests submitted after  *2024-02-29* will
require *explicit
   approval by the Product **CCB *(Change Control Board).
   - Hard kABI Freeze: Please note that we will have a hard kABI freeze on
   2024-03-19. This means, after this date, changes to the application
   binary interface will no longer be permitted.

What's next?

   - Please review all outstanding feature and change requests and finalize
   your decisions by  *2024-02-21*.
   - If you have any questions or require clarification on specific
   items, please don't hesitate to reach out to the product team.
   - Submit any remaining P1 and P2 bug fixes following the established
   process.

By adhering to these deadlines, we can maintain a clear development path
and deliver a high-quality product on time. Your timely cooperation is
greatly appreciated.
