[sle-beta] Gnome and a good Script

Happy Easter,

We have some young people starting with us after Easter and the will be working on SLES15.. Gnome is the display manager and for us old people it's not our DM of choice, but I need the help to find a good "script" for Gnome that we can use with the new people. It needs to be able to write the terminal output to a file in /tmp/logs with a file name that has the "hostname" - Date - time and what ever you think is helpful. We need to be able to guide and help the good people and also pass results back to the Universality in Darmstadt. From my look around the web there are quite a few, but I was thinking on this forum I'm sure there is the best of the best.

We will of course also give them a ride around the block on KDE, but later in the year, keeping the best of last ;o)
