Hi ,
Malcolm told to me yesterday the exact same kernel on a SLES12 SP3 and a RPi also caused havoc with BtrFS
A few of us support folk have tested upgrading SLES12 SP3 with both BtrFS and XFS file systems, to latest kernel-default-4.4.131-94.29-1 but we have not run into any file system issues, either as corruption or mount problems.
So it seems this is at least not a common kernel problem and we need more details or a reproducer.
Thanks
Hans
