Hi,

hummm we have kernel-default-5.3.18-19.2 and not kernel-default-5.3.18-19.1 in the channel,
so it’s seems related to SCC not showing the correct version.

I’m sorry for the inconvenience, I’m escalating this and will keep you in touch,

HI Vincent,

The mailing list issue is fixed, and the ISO download links are working again.

But I have another problem right now.

I've successfully activated the Beta subscription, but when I'm trying to download a package from SCC, the link is dead (404).

Here is an example:

https://updates.suse.com/SUSE/Products/SLE-Module-Basesystem/15-SP2/x86_64/product/x86_64/kernel-default-5.3.18-19.1.x86_64.rpm?ly_UJ9YLl6x8DyBB_yyniSm25EkbtuIax-3NQ9gvzmlbqMkrSvFf6RfeIrOiI1gqwu20k1vU5v3_CGf3kacBBcTWvlbXjwGB9ijZMNkpclTon1OSkxdchvhNrnPJkzorQnZf3CckOiMOKHwVjird8nUtvcJECygy

Is it possible that updates.suse.com still doesn't work?

Thanks

Thanks!

Yes,

I’m receiving emails for months :)

I thought that it has something to do with the fact that I have 2 e-mail addresses (one is an alias) but these addresses were created years ago and the problem started a few days ago.

I received an e-mail from the public beta program while I’m writing this message, so let’s see if it solved this issue.

Btw,

My e-mail addresses are:

Gadi.Hay at emc.com
Gadi.Hay at dell.com

Thanks again for your quick response!

Hi,

Let me share the link in advance:
https://beta.suse.com/private/SLE15/SP2/download/
Please note that the sync is still running! but I hope everything will be synced in half a hour.

I’m not seeing you in the sle-beta at lists.suse.com, did you get any subscription emails or recent mail from sle-beta@?

Thanks, Vincent

I received the beta code.

And a working download link will be helpful as we might need to download the ISO itself for beta testing in a few days.

Btw, when I reply to your emails, I’m receiving an automated message that says that my message is waiting for moderator approval, even though I’m registered to the beta mailing list.

Any idea why?

Thanks!

Hi,

Regular subscription doesn’t give Beta access, this was setup to
prevent misused of Beta Online Channels on production servers. I’ll send you a beta registration code.

It is not absolutely required to have a SLES 15SP2 to download 15SP2 packages, you could use any SMT or SUSE Manager.

I thought the suse.com/download issue was fixed but it seems that we
still have some hiccups… I will setup a workaround on beta.suse.com and share the link here ASAP.

HI Vincent,

My company has an active subscription, which allows me to download individual packages from the SCC. I have no problem downloading packages from SLES 15 SP1 and backwards.

If I’ll have the code I’ll be able to download it directly from the SCC too?

Do I HAVE to install SLES 15 SP2 to retrieve specific package?

One more thing, the download section is down for 2 days, so I’m unable to download the ISO itself, or any other ISO.

Thanks for you help!

Hi there,

You should either find it in the “Full Media 1" on
https://www.suse.com/download/sles/, or request a Beta
Registration Code (to beta-programs at lists.suse.com) so you can our online channels and be able to retrieve any packages from a running and registered SLES.

Let me know if this helps,
Have a nice day,

HI,

I need to download the kernel-generic 5.3.18-19.1 rpm package individually for testing. Where can I find it?

Since all the latest changes to the site, i'm lost 😊

Thanks!

Hi,

Oh thanks for the report, I have missed this.

We are using SHA256!

I’m working with the web team to improve the page, we will definitely mention the algorithm used!
I also have in store:
- Better “Architecture” naming,
- Standing out Beta version,
- x86_64 selected by default instead of Arm,
- Simplified and dedicated beta speech on the left side,

So if you have any additional feedback, please let me know,

Have a nice day,
Regards,

Public Release Candidate 2 for SUSE Linux Enterprise 15 Service Pack 2 is finally available.

NEW Download page

The former https://download.suse.com has now been replaced byhttps://www.suse.com/download/.
You can find SLE 15 SP2 Beta Full and Online ISOs Media1 and Media2 + JeOS and Vagrant images directly from https://www.suse.com/download/sles.
Thanks to the Unified Installer introduced with SLE 15, you only need a SLE 15 SP2 Full or Online Media1 ISO to install all SLE products (SLES, SLED, SLEWE, SLEHA, SLEHPC, SLES for SAP and SUSE Manager).

Media1, Media2 and Media3

As a reminder Media1 contains the binaries (usual installation ISO), Media2 contains the sources and Media3 which contained debuginfo packages is _not_ provided as ISOs images anymore but still available as Online Channel.

Thus we are kindly asking you to request a Beta Registration Code and register your system to retrieve any needed debuginfo packages.
Known issues

Please note that SLE 15 SP2 Beta is, as of now, only available in the english version of suse.com/download! and only under the SLES product. This is a known issue and we are working on a fix, please change your Language setting to English in the meantime.

We are sorry for the inconvenience, please contact us at beta-programs at lists.suse.com if you have any issues!
